About Popi.ai
Research-backed software comparisons you can actually trust.
The Problem
Most comparison sites optimize for affiliate revenue, not accuracy. Rankings are determined by commission rates. Research is shallow (5-10 sources), generic pros and cons, no real analysis. Content is published once and never updated.
We built Popi.ai to fix this.
Our Approach
Research depth. We analyze 25-50 verified sources per comparison. Every claim is cited. No vague assertions.
Quarterly updates. Every comparison is refreshed every 3 months with latest pricing, features, and user feedback. Most sites publish once and abandon.
Transparent methodology. Our research process is public and verifiable. We show source counts, update dates, and confidence ratings on every comparison.
Every comparison includes:
- 25-50 verified sources analyzed
- 12+ real user quotes with attribution
- 3-5 video demonstrations reviewed
- Pricing verified within 90 days
- Quarterly updates minimum
- Every claim cited with evidence
Editorial Independence
We use affiliate links to fund our research. When you purchase through our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
However, affiliate potential never affects our research or rankings. Our methodology is public. Every score is backed by documented evidence. Vendors cannot pay for better rankings. We compare tools even without affiliate programs.
Our differentiation isn't "no affiliates" - it's transparent methodology and research depth that prevents bias from affecting rankings.

Who We Are
Popi.ai was founded in 2024 by Mark van Oosterwijck, an entrepreneur who spent years evaluating tools for his business (FitChef.com), only to waste hours on outdated comparison sites that ranked tools by affiliate commission instead of quality.
Frustrated by shallow reviews and conflicting information, he started doing what any thorough founder does: digging deeper. He'd pull up official documentation, scan through Reddit threads, watch demo videos, read user reviews across multiple platforms, and verify pricing directly from vendor websites. What should have taken 20 minutes often turned into hours of research. But it worked. He made better decisions.
When he shared these findings with fellow entrepreneurs, the response was clear: "This is what I've been looking for."
Popi.ai launched to make this research available to everyone. We're not journalists or professional reviewers. We're entrepreneurs who got tired of shallow, biased content and built the platform we wished existed.
